This week a team of Pasifika students visited ARA - Institute of Canterbury for their annual Pacific Expo. To date it was the largest gathering they have had to the expo. Some students spoke about what they learnt throughout the day. The fashion industry for our Pasifika whānau is growing exponentially as well as creative arts which has always been quite steady. Sam Latu, ARA Youth and Community Development Representative, came to visit us onsite also. He shared some of his top tips for life after kura, what dates to look out for at ARA and invited students to take part in their holiday programme Pacific Bloom.
