U17 Women's World Cup Football

CONGRATULATIONS Gabrielle Rennie and Macey Fraser making history as New Zealand advanced to the semi-finals of a Women's World Cup for the first time at any level. They then faced Spain who are considered one of the strongest national teams in under 17 level. Spain hold the record of playing the most finals. The team lost 0-2 but could hold their heads high after a really close encounter. They-then went onto the bronze medal play off against Canada which they won 2 – 0. An outstanding result.
