Cattle handling competition results - New Zealand Agricultural Show 2018

Eleven students took part in this event competing in teams and individually from 9am through until 3pm on the Friday. They did incredibly well as they had spent the Wednesday and Thursday working with the Lowline cattle shown by Woolstone Park prior to this.

This year Rangiora High had three teams in the secondary teams' competition and 8 of the students were new members. The three teams were placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the competition.

The students and I would like to thank Phillip and Kay Worthington from WoolStone Park for their continued support as they have trained students for the last nine years for this competition which has involved Wednesday and Sunday trainings for many months each year. Without them we would not be able to take part in the event.
