Here at Rangiora High School our Tautoko Hauora Rōpū /Counselling & Guidance Team consists of qualified professional Kaiwhakamahereora/ Counsellors.

Each of our Counsellors come with a depth of knowledge, skills and experience in particular and/or specialist areas of Hauora Hinengaro | Mental Health. Just like our colleagues in the community, our Counsellors are able to offer support for our tauira (students) in relation to anxiety, depression, substance misuse, sexual trauma/abuse, addictions, whakamomori (suicide and self-harm) and other areas of mental health and wellbeing.

We have two full time and two part time Kaiwhakamahereora available Monday to Friday during the school terms. To ensure professional integrity our team are also registered members of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.

We are also fortunate to have a Kaiāwhina Guidance | Guidance Administrator available to help our tauira | students and their whānau connect with us either for specific support and/or general queries or concerns.
