Processes to lodge a concern or complaint

RHS —

If you have concerns or want to make a complaint:

We want to do things well and get things right so that we provide the best possible conditions for learning. We appreciate hearing from student(s)/parent(s)/caregiver(s) when you feel we have done well AND when you think something needs to be put right or improvements can be made.

We ask that you contact us when you think that:

  •  your daughter or son has not been treated satisfactorily, fairly, politely or to an acceptable standard.
  •  we have not done something we should have done or we have done something inappropriately.

Your son / daughter's form teacher , Dean, House Leader and Guidance Counsellors are available to deal with any pastoral issues such as relationships with other students or teachers. Her / His subject teacher and the Head of Faculty are available to discuss issues to do with progress teaching and learning programmes. The email addresses for staff are included in this newsletter or alternatively please ring Reception and leave a message asking to be contacted.

If required the Senior Leadership team (the Deputy Principals, Associate Principal and the Principal) are also available to meet with you to discuss these issues further.

The Complaints Policy<http://assets2.rangiorahigh.school.nz/assets/Complaints-Policy_29925_1.pdf> outlines in more detail Rangiora High School's procedures.
