Interschool One Day Event. 🐎

The Equestrian team recently competed in the Interschool One Day event at NEC, McLeans Island. This is the premier schools' championship and is highly competitive. Eventing requires riders to complete a Dressage test, Showjumping and a Cross Country course over the day. Rangiora High School was able to field two competitive teams and finished in 9th and 10th place out of 25 teams. We had some excellent individual placings also. Toby Orr and Loulou Regos finished 1st overall in their classes and Sophie Stephens finished 2nd in her class.

Earlier in the year – Rangiora High School also sent two teams to the Interschool Dressage Championships again at McLeans Island. The teams did very well against stiff competition. Again Sophie Stephens rode very well and was placed first in her class.
