Schools have recently been through Board of Trustees' elections and Rangiora High School is no different. Your board members are Simon Green, Wayne Bonnet, Ben Prain, Leigh Kennedy, Karen Stewart, Blake Benny, Gillian Koster and Ian Fong.

The Board has also co-opted Louise Courtney on to the Board, to provide a better gender and ethnic balance. She has previous governance and strategic planning experience, plus she is a mother of a student at Rangiora High School, so we welcome her. We have opted for a staggered term model for trustees moving forward, so at any election, there would only be a maximum of three trustees up for election.

Our major focus for next term is to complete a strategic plan for the school. A major contributor to this plan is a community consultation process, that Mrs Stewart has alluded to in her Principal's report.
