New Zealand Schools' Triathlon Champs

Ethan and Quade McLachlan both raced at the New Zealand Schools' Triathlon Champs in New Plymouth recently.

Quade finished 4th - under 14 boys

Ethan finished 16th - under 16 boys

Team Races

Quade raced with two Cashmere HS boys in championship race for under 16 and they came 1st  in the Team Transition  -  -and 2nd in the Triathlon Tag Team race

Racing in the International Triathlon Union race series on Sunday with competitors from all over the world and running onto the ITU blue carpet to finish the race was a real highlight for our students.   

Duathlon/Triathlon South Island Champs (Oamaru)

Congratulations to the following students:

Alex Burdon came 2nd in his age group - U16 in 49 minutes and received a silver medal.

James Burdon came 4th in his age group - U14 in 56 minutes

Sam Mahan, Cassie Taylor and Neo Goodman competed in the Mixed Team event and placed 1st

Triathlon Canterbury Champs

Quade McLachlan, Ethan McLachlan, Sam Mahan, Cassie Taylor and Neo Goodman all competed in the Canterbury Secondary Schools' Triathlon at Sumner. Sam, Cassie & Neo placed 2nd in the mixed team event.
