On the 20th September,  three RHS Dance troupes performed at the Outstanding Feet Dance Showcase at the YMCA in Christchurch. The three pieces were beautifully choreographed by the troupe leaders – Charis Ripley (Dance Captain), Carlee Pearce, Olivia Chunn and Charlotte Eckhardt. The performance was well supported by parents and it gave the students a chance to showcase their talents within dance and choreography. The standard was extremely high and all of students represented the school with pride. The Senior Troupe have also made the finals for ‘Y’ Factor – a talent show that will be held on Saturday 29th September – we wish these girls the best of luck.

The pieces were:

“Leave the Light on” performed by the Senior Troupe – Charis Ripley, Carlee Pearce, Olivia Chunn, Charlotte Eckhardt, Sammie Withers, Evie Moore, Rachael McInnes and Jemma Johnson.

“Crown” – performed by Junior 1 Troupe – Ataleya Dickie, Jaya Faith, Rosie Lyall, Keira Sewell, Neve Sewell, Isabella Cross and Emily Banks

“Lost”– performed by Junior 2 Troupe – Holly Grundy, Emily Lang, Summer Payton and Faith Schad, Madison Tull
