The International Department has had a very busy Term 1 as we welcomed back 25 returning students and welcomed 29 new students into our school community.

As part of our Term 1 Adventure Camp, 22 students travelled up to Abel Tasman National Park with stops along the way for kayaking, dolphin swimming and river rafting.

In March we welcomed 18 Thai students and their group leader who are here for 4 weeks under the Kiwi Centre Group Programme. The students are in New Zealand to experience our culture and improve their English. They have enjoyed a variety of school lessons and external activities such as trips to Willowbank, Queenstown and Blokarting. The group were buddied up with RHS students and followed them to their normal classes. A big thank you to these students who volunteered for the buddy program, as their enthusiasm was magnificent.
