News from the Rangiora High School Learner Support and Transition team.

Kia ora whānau,

We would like to let you know what we are up to and introduce the team that will be visiting Primary Schools at least three times between now and the end of the 2020 school year. We know this time of change can be overwhelming and we wish to provide relevant information in a timely and effective manner. 

Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we had to adjust our timelines and instead of Open Day tours in Term 2 we have been getting out to our Primary Schools and meeting Year 8 students this term. 

We will be sharing a video of RHS, answering some questions and simply spending some time in the Year 8 Learning Spaces. We will then come back and visit students again in Term 3 and once more in Term 4. As well, there will be multiple opportunities to connect with us and the entire team at RHS: Information Evenings, visits to Primary Schools and Year 8 Orientation Day, to name a few.

We are very much looking forward to meeting your students and doing our very best to make the transition to High School as smooth and straightforward as possible. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school and a member of the Learner Support Team will be in touch.
