Rangiora High School operates 24 timetable periods each week. Different lesson times operate on Wednesdays.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday lessons start at 8.40am and the school day ends at 3.00pm. The first break (interval) is from 10.45am to 11.15am. The second break (lunch) is from 1.20pm to 2.00pm.

The exception to the above is Wednesday when students have a later start time of 10.00am as staff are involved in Professional Learning meetings. Buses run approximately 60 minutes later (arriving just before 10.00am). On Wednesdays, lessons begin at 10.00am and the school day ends at 2.40pm, with one break.
