In Canoe Polo, we have a team of 9 students who are attending the competition at Lake Rua this term. All students are enjoying the competition and hope to continue next term.
Our Cheerleading team entered the CheerSport Secondary Schools' Nationals and took out first place in the Grade 1 competition. This was a fantastic effort for their very first competition and a brand new sport at Rangiora High School
We wish students Kaitlin Feather and Jess Hendren all the best as they head north to Tauranga in early December to take part in the Secondary Schools' National Athletics competition.
A good start to term 4, a mixed bag of results for all teams.
Our 1st XI are looking very dapper in our new shirts sponsored by Dappermen of Rangiora and vests donated by RHS PTA. Thank you.

This term have two teams competing - the Junior Boys who have had a successful term winning all their games and claiming the title for Div1 Junior Boys. The Senior Girls made it to Premier A this term and had some great games. We had six students taking part in the Secondary Schools' Junior Championship competition on 24/25 November at Wilding Park. Unfortunately rain affected the singles' play offs but they achieved good results in doubles.

Jonty Howard and Jackson Wright - 4th in Yr 10 doubles
Our Senior A Girls Volleyball team competed in the Canterbury Schools' Volleyball Champs which had been cancelled in March at Labour Weekend. The girls were in Division 2 and had an unbeaten road to the final. With confidence the girls took out the Division 2 title again this year. Well done to you all.
On 6th-8th November the year 10A Volleyball team competed and won Division 2 of the Canterbury Champs Volleyball Tournament. The team of ten Yr 10 girls represented our school well. They conducted themselves with pride, manners and great wawata. They started the tournament strong with three wins on the first two days. Their games on Sunday were a bit more challenging, but they landed the final against Avonside Girls. After a stressful two sets it was a draw, but the girls rose to the occasion and really boosted each other up, winning the final set and taking the trophy for Division 2. The girls should be very proud of this achievement!
We had the Senior A and B, and Junior A Volleyball teams entered in the School Sport Canterbury competition and all teams played very well and we are looking forward to new teams being set for Term 1 next year.
