South Island Secondary Schools' Athletics Championships
The 2019 South Island Secondary Schools' Athletics Championships were held in Nelson recently.
Jess Hendren 1stU14 Girls' High Jump (clearing 1.64m, a new South Island record)
Kaitlin Feather 1st U15 Girls' Long Jump (5.16m); 2nd in the 80m Hurdles
Jade Kruger 1st U16 Girls' 200m 925.71 seconds); 2nd 100m
Debbie Begg 1st Senior Girls' Athletes with Disabilities in 100m and Shot Put
Abby Ladd recorded personal bests in both her events placing 4th in Discus; 8th in the Shot Put
Max Flannigan placed 8th in 800m and 14th in the hotly contested senior boys division
