A morning of fun as the Tūī team collaborated and constructed with lego.

Tūī team celebrated the last week of term 3 with a House of Bricks lego session.

Tamariki participated in two challenges. They used their knowledge of patterns to create mosaic tiles and designed a build that would put a smile on an angry carrot's face. The carrot was forced to turn his frown upside down when he saw all the fantastic houses, pool parties and gardens that the Tūī team had built for him.

Tūī teachers were impressed with both the creativity and school values that our ākonga showed. In particular, there was fantastic sharing (manaakitanga), collaborating (whanaungatanga) and an awesome effort at pack up time (kaitiakitanga).
