Rangiora Borough School supplies all children with school stationery
From the start of 2020, the Rangiora Borough School Board has funded school stationery requirements for all Rangiora Borough School students.
All required stationery is supplied for each child at Rangiora Borough School.
In 2019, the Rangiora Borough School Board agreed to fund school stationery requirements for Rangiora Borough School students from 2020.
This ensures that there is no barrier to learning for our children through the Board providing this equitable access to learning tools.
As mentioned in our article about the Ministry of Education Donation Scheme, there are a number of other things the Board see as being important to use the funding for.
We know that children sometimes like to have their own bits and pieces too, but this ensures that all children have access to the tools that they will need to carry out their learning in a productive way.
Of course, children often have their own pencil case and other equipment that they have personally. Please ensure these things are named.
Stationery packs will be given to children on the first day of school (Thursday 1st February). You may want to ask your child to put them in their bag to bring home so the books can be covered and named if that is what you would like to do.
