On Monday 13th of May many of the staff members went out to connect and bond with the tamariki of our school. The purpose of this was to get to know and create personal relationships between the staff and our pupils of our school. The activities included rugby, basketball, football, playground fun and more. Here are some of the teachers responses Matua Nathan said "It was great being out and seeing the smiles of the tamariki". Robyn a Learning Assistant aid said "I enjoyed the experience and loved sharing ideas with the pupils". Whaea Tash said 'I loved building a Titanic in the sandpit with Inari and doing flips on the monkey bars with some friendly year 3/4's who were teaching me. Somebody showed me some great Manaakitanga and said 'can you come play again tomorrow?'. It sounded like a great day.
