Koru Games was a tremendous success for Rangiora Borough School! Our students excelled in various sports, including basketball, cross country, korfball, and touch. We are grateful to Wayne, Tom, Anna, Sandy, and Alana for their support.

We are thrilled to share the success of Rangiora Borough School in this year's Koru games held over three days in Selwyn, between Lincoln University and Rolleston.

Our talented students showcased their skills and brought home several impressive achievements. The basketball team secured the first place with a well-deserved gold medal, demonstrating their teamwork and dedication.

In cross country, we have a true champion among us. Beth Wilhelm, with her exceptional talent and determination, claimed the first position and earned a gold medal. Congratulations, Beth!

The Korfball team also displayed a remarkable performance, securing the second place and winning a silver medal. Kudos to our talented players for their hard work and commitment.

Furthermore, our superstar touch players made us proud by placing 7th in a large pool of mixed touch teams. Their skills and sportsmanship were truly commendable.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Wayne, Tom, Anna, Sandy, Kirsty, Dee, Alana and Angela for their invaluable contributions in making this trip possible. Your support and assistance were instrumental in ensuring our students' participation in the Koru games.

We are immensely proud of all our participants and their outstanding achievements. Their dedication and perseverance have brought honor to our school. Based on the success of this year's Koru games, we are already considering participating again next year.

If you would like to be part of this incredible journey and provide support, please keep an eye out for future announcements. We may need to form a committee of dedicated individuals to help us ensure more of our students get the opportunity to participate in this enriching event.

Once again, congratulations to all our participants for their outstanding performance, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making this journey possible.
