Today the Year 4 children learnt about Cycle Safety with Constable Ken at Dudley Park. The children learnt how to safely push their bike, push off, signal and most importantly how to use their brakes effectively. Next term will see more sessions in preparation for our bike trip along the Rakahuri Trail in Term 4. We were very impressed with the children's concentration, bike skills they already knew and their manners. Talk with your child and get them to tell you what a properly fitting helmet looks like.
