Last week, we held our final Board meeting with the existing Board.

The new Board will take office seven days after the Board election day, 7 September 2022. This means that the next scheduled Board meeting, will be held with the newly elected Board on Monday 19 September 2022.

You may have noticed the new terminology used in your voting paper. This group of people used to be known as Trustees on the School Board of Trustees, led by a Board Chairperson.

This Governance body is now called the School Board, with Board Members now led by the Presiding Member. A subtle difference in terminology, but still the same role - to serve as elected members on the Governance group.

Louise has led the Board well and at the last meeting, we thanked her for all the work that has been done over her tenure as both Chairperson and trustee.
