Exciting Collaboration: Rangiora Borough Kids Shine with High School Coaches!
Rangiora Borough students join high school mentors for outdoor coaching fun.
Our enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 students are thrilled to be joined by Year 12 Rangiora high school sports students for coaching sessions full of fun and learning new skills. The games played are engaging, fun, taught new skill concepts and it was great to see all of our wonderful students really engaged. This year, we are excited to have some of our Year 4 students join in too, making a total of 124 eager participants.
Each year we offer this opportunity to our students and are lucky enough to have two of the high school teachers Mr. Strawbridge and Mr. McDonald help us organise this fantastic opportunity!
The sessions kicked off today with great enthusiasm at 11:30 AM for NReR and K1 and a second session for K3 and K4 at 1:50 PM. There are more upcoming lessons on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week which promise more excitement and learning.
We are looking forward to wrapping up with a final lesson in the first week of Term Four.
We are lucky to be outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and getting active. The positive vibes and teamwork and connections in our community make this experience truly special. 😊🌞
