Once a week an enthusiastic group of musicians come together to practice their ukelele skills at lunchtime. Led by Mrs Reed, they are currently learning a wide variety of music for a Strum, Strike, Blow Festival, where they will join other Canterbury Primary Schools to perform at the Christchurch Arena in September. This is a great experience to join with over 400 other ukelele, recorder and marimba players. We anticipate a great workshop day and an amazing evening performance. Our playing skills and knowledge of new chords are improving every week as we get ready for this Festival!
