We have all had a fantastic start back. We are starting the week with some discovery time to cement the school values and promote friendship and sharing. 

Last week we had our first week of spelling and we were very impressed with the results of students which shows how much effort they are putting in at home.  We will send new words home every Monday and will be testing students on a Friday.  We also do a lot of word work associated with these list words to gain an in depth understanding of new vocabulary.

We are all doing novel studies as a class which the children are really enjoying along with a lot of amazing art projects. 

A highlight last week was our introduction to Banqer (Financial literacy) where the student all opened their own bank accounts and learnt about income and expenditure. 

We are all enjoying working collaboratively as a team and have found the children have adapted well to the new Red Light systems.
