This term the Tūī team are learning about growing plants and what plants need to survive. Using the school garden we are growing some vegetables and are patiently waiting for our radishes, peas and strawberries to grow. We have grown pea seeds inside plastic bags so we could watch what happens when seeds germinate, and we have also made some rather cute monsters with barley "hair". We are also learning te reo words for some of our more common fruit.
