On Thursday the 5th of September the William Pike Challenge (WPC) children left to begin their walk up the Godley Heads track. They started at Taylor's mistake beach and began the uphill track. About a quarter of the way up the children stopped for a break and to admire the view. It was quite a beautiful sight. After that they made it to the first war memorial, it was where the gun turrets sat. After a quick stop they continued tracking up the hill while appreciating the coastal view. When they made it to the top there were a few games and a lunch break after we looked around. From then on the children turned around to make the home run back to the beach. When everyone was down they played at the beach for a bit before leaving back to school. We would like to thank all the teachers and parents who made this day possible.
