RBS had two talented swimmers competing in the North Canterbury Swimming Sports on Tuesday 21 March.
Both swimmers performed to the best of their ability and gained places in their respective events.
Melody, our Year 8 student was second in the Open Butterfly event. This is one of the hardest strokes to master and she is a natural.
Emily, our Year 5 student and new to competing in swimming events was third in backstroke and second in breastroke. Emily displays beautiful technique in all the swimming strokes and we look forward to her representing RBS in the future.
Both these talented students now go to the Canterbury Swimming Sports next week, to compete in the events they have qualifying times for.
