Rangiora Borough School picked up two trophies today!

We are very proud to have taken along 37 RBS students to Mainpower stadium today to compete for the two Korfball cups.

The 'Mixx Korfball' started the tournament with a debrief with all 5 North Canterbury schools, before we set off to our three pool competitions. It was tough in some pools competing against some very experienced teams, but as the day progressed we saw some amazing progress from all participants.

Through some hard work and determination we were very pleased to see that we made the final in the year 7/8 division and the year 5/6 division. Both teams played their final at the same time, resulting in a win for both teams, in two very evenly matched games. 

Rangiora Borough bought home the two trophies for winning both age groups.  We were rather excited and may have jumped and cheered a little loud! 

It was great to see all of our teams supporting one another and cheering each other on throughout the day.

A big thank you to Briar and Dylan who were two of our amazing coaches for the day! We had lots of supportive parents pop down and cheer the students on too!  All of the kids were absolutely awesome!
