The Rangiora Borough School Board of Trustees has opted in to the Ministry of Education School Donation Scheme. The school now receives targeted funds as part of the operating grant.

This means that from 2020, we have not been asking for donations or fees for normal everyday school curriculum activities - including stationery.

The following will be covered by the Ministry of Education Donation Scheme:

• School stationery requirements

• Swimming,

• Group trips and excursions,

• Visiting performers,

• Google account management

• Specific online applications annual subscription

• Family school donation

We will only be asking for payment contributions for events to do with optional activities and camps. These are mostly senior school activities.

Items for payment are:

• School uniforms

• Camp contributions

• Senior Representative sports

• Out of School sports

• Sports uniform bond

• Year 8 Formal
