Tui 2 began by planting peas at the end of term 3. Read on to find out more ...

Monday saw them preparing the garden bed and then planting the pea seedlings and some radishes. 

On Tuesday Tui 1 also planted some radishes and some strawberry plants. There are some salad greens sprouting to also put into the garden. We hope to be able to try some of our produce before the end of the term. 

The children have been fascinated by watching videos of seeds sprouting and growing. Tui 2 have started an experiment to watch seeds swell and sprout. 

All of the classes are enjoying visiting the school garden and seeing how things grow. It is great to see another team's broad beans flowering and developing the bean pods.
