April the 25th, our nation celebrated the lives of many women and men who served our country at war.

Rangiora Borough was represented by myself, Belle Ealam-Smith, Jarquinn Sehnert, Phoebe Treacy and Nik Chaabra on the the crisp and sunny Sunday morning here in Rangiora. 

The weather was perfect, with rain the evening before, the sun was warm and the air still. Rangiora community was out in force and we all joined together in solidarity to remember many who helped our country through times of war.

I would like to thank the students and parents of above who took time during their holiday break to represent Rangiora Borough. It was lovely to walk with them and experience the parade from a different viewpoint. Thanks must also go to Sandi Harnett and family for making our wreath on behalf of our school.

We will remember them.
