The Ruru Team were lucky to receive a visit from Andy, a member of the K9 Explosive Detector Dog Unit in Christchurch.

Andy shared with us his role in the Unit and the selection and training process required to ensure his dogs have the ability to detect explosives.

The ākonga were excited to give his new puppy in training, a pat. We all fell in love with Hugo.
