This Friday 8 March is a planned Staff Professional Learning Day for Term 1 - school is closed. 

We continue our professional development as a staff, learning about children's and adolescent brain development, the neuro-science behind child development and the relationship to our ongoing schoolwide focus in Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).

We are thrilled to have Kathryn Berkett come to deliver this professional learning opportunity to us.

Here is a little about her:
Kathryn has her Masters in Educational Psychology. She is also a certified Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics practitioner - a qualification gained via the Child Trauma Academy (Dr Bruce Perry). A mother of two adolescent children, Kathryn brings real world knowledge to her presentations.
Kathryn has been training audiences since 2007. Kathryn has a unique ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-listen to, easy-to-understand way.
