In the Ruru Team we are using Super Ruru's to catch our students being wonderful RBS citizens.

On the first day of school, we introduced our Super Ruru's. These are small slips of paper that tamariki receive when a teacher or learning assistant sees them displaying any of our values. Some days there are a specific focus such as mat manners or raising their hand.

Every day at our morning meeting, 15 Super Ruru's are drawn out. Those students who are chosen get to vote for a whole team reward. These rewards were thought up and voted on by our tamariki. For Term 1, we will be having our reward on Thursdays of even weeks. The first 4 options to vote for are: Skate Park hour, Technology hour, Disco, and Bring a Toy. These options will change each fortnight.

We are looking forward to seeing what gets voted for and our Week 4 Thursday whole team reward. So far it looks like Skate Park is in the lead!
