Students showcased creativity and technical skills, securing top spots in the E pro 8 North Canterbury competition. Great job, future engineers! 🌟
Congratulations to our incredible students who participated in the Epro8 challenge at Kaiapoi North school! Four teams showcased their hard work and creativity with the E Pro 8 equipment, resulting in the outstanding creation of roller coasters, washing machines, and rideable scooters.
Our year 7 and 8 teams excelled, claiming second and third place after a fun-filled evening of competition. They also dedicated their time to mentoring the year 5 and 6 students, who also secured remarkable rankings in their competitions with second and third place.
This achievement reflects the talent and dedication of our students, competing against 12 other schools in each event. Witnessing 16 enthusiastic kids on the podium is truly inspiring!
We are thrilled by the technical engineering prowess displayed by our students. Their success is a testament to their innovation and teamwork.
Three of these teams will be heading to Christchurch South intermediate on the 7th and 8th of August for the Canterbury competition. We will continue our engineering training in the Kōtare pod in week one and two next term for those who feel like popping in to see our creative minds at work.
