Staffing news
We have a change of teacher in the Ruru team for Term 2, and we say goodbye to one of our Learning Assistants.
We are very happy to be able to share with you, that we have confirmed Mrs Alison Bjork as the Ruru 3 teacher for at least Term 2. Alison will be well known to a number of our whānau as she has been a teacher with us at Rangiora Borough for a number of years, having recently taken some time away to be with family.
Alison will be working alongside Marcelle in Ruru 3, and the rest of the Ruru team a couple of days this week, to help with the transition and change of teacher in the team. As you know, the Ruru team work well together, and Alison has already worked with Denise Sheridan and Steve O'Dell previously.
We also congratulate Marcelle Coley on her new position at Woodend School. I know that you along with me, wish Marcelle Coley all the best for her new position at Woodend School which she starts next term.
We also congratulate Leanne Neate on her new position at Swanannoa School. Leanne has worked with us for 2 years as a Learning Assistant, mainly in the Tūi team, showing a real passion for the children she worked with.
It is great that she will still be part of our Kāhui Ako so we will still see her at Kāhui Ako professional learning events.
