The Tūī 2 team have been getting creative with our learning outdoors while the weather is fine.

We recently took a maths/pāngarau lesson outside and explored how we could make numerals from 0 to 9 with our bodies. Tamariki used their creative thinking skills and worked with a partner or small group to create different shapes with their bodies. 

It was great to hear the mathematical language coming out as we discussed order, angles, lines, size and positions.
