Tui 3 have been for a walk across the school to our garden. We were delighted to find some carrots and strawberries to share. We took them back to class and washed, them, cut them and munched them!!

The children were excited to see so much growing in our garden. Since then we have been back and done some weeding, harvested a big zucchini and planted some leeks, spinach and broccoli. We had too many seedlings for our garden so we shared them with Kotare for their garden. When we dropped them off they were busy eating roasted potatoes and carrots from their garden.

We look forward to more gardening adventures throughout the year and doing some cooking with our produce.
