I have been at Te Matauru Technology Centre today and it has made me so happy seeing all the happy smiles!

Fun is an important part of learning and actually makes it so much better. I love how hard the Tech teachers work to plan and produce amazing opportunities for our kids.

Meals being cooked in the kitchen; I witnessed wedges, brownie and pizza!! Electrical circuits are being constructed for light-boxes. Bags and badminton covers being sewing in the Textiles room and games being glued and nailed together in the Woodworking area.

These year 8's are showing loads of Manaakitanga and enjoyment.

Wednesdays are pretty fantastic!
