The Road works on King Street has been brought fotrward to start next Monday, 27 November 2023. Please find below the letter sent to the neighbouring properties for your reference.
TEMPORARY ROAD WORKS – ONE WAY ROAD CLOSURE
This letter is to let you know that road works will soon be carried out at the following location(s):King Street , Rangiora. From High Street to Queen Street
The reason for these road works is to install a new Wastewater upgrade for the area.
This work is proposed to take place between the following dates: 27th November 2023 – 22nd December 2023
Site will then be removed for Christmas shutdown and reinstalled on the following dates:
11th January 2024 – 19th January 2024
Proposed work hours are 6am – 6pm.
During these works some issues may be experienced,
1. Works causing noise and vibrations at times (this will be kept to a minimum where possible).
2. King Street will only be accessible from Queen Street , there is a detour in place for High Street. This will be in place 24 hours.
3. Parking restrictions will be in place.
4. Detour routes will be sign posted for these works.
Any restrictions put in place will apply to all vehicle traffic except for emergency service vehicles.
Traffic management staff will be onsite to assist as required.
If you require home help or require special access through the work area, please make contact with our traffic management team prior to 25/11/2023 so any arrangements can be made as required.
