Emily represented Rangiora Borough school at the North Canterbury swimming champs. She made it through to this event when she came second in the Rakahuri zone competition.

It is a great event that begins with the students all warming up in the pool before gathering together and awaiting their event. Events were run and certificates were handed out with efficiency and amazing organisation from the North Canterbury school sports officials.

Emily swam well in her year 6 girls backstroke event, placing third. We are all very proud of her.
