As you are aware, we do have an extensive school fence and gates to ensure the safety of our tamariki.

We need to remind our school whānau to ensure that the gates close fully once you have entered.

Although they are self closing, there is a balance of having them close too hard to pose a hazard, or too soft that they don't fully catch. Our fencing contractor and caretaker regularly checks that this balance is appropriate.

Just have a glance after walking through, to ensure that it did catch. If not, please shut it and inform us in the office area so that we may have this checked.
