Angela Newland — May 15, 2022

Physical Activity Leaders (PALs) is a leadership programme that develops student's abilities to lead and promote play, sport and physical activity opportunities for their peers.

This year we have been given the opportunity to establish a group of Physical activity leaders (PALS)  at Rangiora Borough School.

A group of 21 year 5, 6 and 7 students have been selected to work alongside their peers and help promote an interest in outdoor education and physical activity within our school.  10 of these students will be attending a training course for the day through Sport Canterbury on Thursday this week.

Congratulations to the following leaders who will have a day out training with Mrs Newland.

Thomas, Henry, Lincoln, Neah, Nathan, Amelia, Hunter, Kyle, Charlotte, and Isabella.

We also have the following support students who will be able to assist and learn from these students. With future training opportunities to be provided.

Bel, Hugo, Miah, CJ, Emma, Ollie, Pia, Ava, Kirrin, Lyla and Sophia.

Our first project will be to help promote the Jumping June in our school.
