Ko Alana tōku ingoa

I have recently joined the Rangiora Borough School Board of Trustees and I'm looking forward to helping provide guidance and support to the teaching team, and to the School overall.

My eldest child, Caleb, attended Rangiora Borough, Grace is currently in her last year with the school and our youngest, Kahurangi, will be starting in Term 4 2025. The school has offered education to our whānau through main stream, and also attendance from the Bilingual stream, Ngā Rākau e Rua. Our whānau is very grateful to have a school within our community that can offer the bilingual option for our tamariki.

When I'm not involved with the Board role, you'll often find me in various sporting positions to support our tamariki in playing sports. I am passionate about keeping our tamariki active, engaged and striving to be the best version of themselves.

This year will bring many challenges and opportunities that I'm looking forward to embracing. I intend on attending the many professional development opportunities provided to help ensure I'm fulfilling the Board role to the best of my ability.

Nā reira, tēnei te mihi nunui ki a koutou katoa.
