More Images from our Class 12 Rangatahi Projects

Clare Goodman —

Due to the Alert Level restrictions, the C12 Project Presentations looked a little different this year. Whilst the audiences were small and intimate the broadness of the project topics and the high standard of the speeches and display stands were both educational and inspiring!

Alongside their everyday curriculum, Class 12 Projects provide a unique opportunity for rangatahi to learn and enrich their education on an individual basis by pursuing a passion or area of personal interest. This year there was a diverse range of subjects covered - from the history of chemistry and creating fireworks to a journey of identity through ta moko whakairo rākau. The project journey encourages rangatahi to venture beyond comfort zones through practical experiences and academic research.

Sincere thanks to C12 parents, student supervisors and project experts as well as the C11 tech duo who did a phenomenal job on the day. A special thank you to Tim, Megan, Amelia, Karyn and Gabrielle who worked collaboratively to ensure the event was a success.
