Wet on Wet Painting in Classes 2 and 4

Irene Cheung —

The process of wet on wet painting gives children a much slower, experiential involvement in colour, in a meditative, calming way, allowing them to feel the effects and qualities of colour within themselves (warm or cool).

Ākonga in the Classes 2 and 4 have been experiencing this with the help of Caroline Schlebusch-Bruemmer. They have been delighted with creating and observing the effect of colours mixing and meeting on their paper.
