The year 2021 is soon gone and Christmas is around the corner - so is summer!

And the Upper Hutt Spinners and Weavers club rooms are open again at last. Perfect time for a summer scarf felting workshop in which you can create your own summer scarf for this season! In the morning we will be felting a light scarf made of silk and very fine Merino wool (so called Nuno felting). In the afternoon you can dye it in your favourite colours. We will be using acid dyes and I will show you how you can do plain colours, dip dye or Shibori dyeing. 

• When: Sunday 12th of December 2021, 10am - 5pm 
• Where: Upper Hutt Spinners and Weavers club rooms, Trentham station 
• Cost: $200

All material included. Tea and coffee provided Maximum group size: 6 participants

A deposit will be required to book your space. If this workshop is not for you or the date doesn't suit but you would like to learn felting - I offer small group workshops in my studio at a time and on a topic that suits you. Just contact me. A voucher for a felting workshop is also a great Christmas present :-)
