From Vision to Action - the Social Art of Making Things Work. Talk by Herbert Wolpert

Monday, 3rd of June, 7:30 - 9:00 pm at 19 Bristol Square, Lower Hutt

Dear Members and Friends,

In our personal lives, our groups and teams, our organisations and institutions, we are continually challenged with the theme of Vision and Action. In a way, it is the fundamental relationship between theory and practice. On one side, we have these inspiring, amazing, ambitious and colourful pictures of a desired future, full of promise and benefits, and on the other side, we are confronted with the sometimes stony road to implement them and bring them to fruition. And not seldom do we face poor outcomes or even failures of great ideas. Once, these ideas had the potential of rising stars and some of them have fallen apart just after take-off.

This raises the question, what does it require, what is the pathway to navigate the process to a more successful result? What are the requirements for better results in the field of action? Herbert intends to share some insights out of his work in social fields.

Herbert has 20+ years’ experience in Organisation Development, Coaching and in Leadership Development - mainly in Europe and South East Asia. He is also connected to the Association of Social Development (ASD), an international network of consultants founded by Bernard Lievegoed at the NPI in Holland and inspired by Anthroposophy.

We are looking forward to seeing you then.
