Thank you for keeping students home in Week 6 for the Staff Development Day. We had a great day of learning. We started with a session on purakau led by Karen Gault, completely in Te Reo. This was a very special way to begin the day. Our second session was led by Amelia Minogue and Geoff Heath and focused on strengthening and deepening our practice around main lesson planning and pedagogy. In the afternoon we completed some consultation activities as a staff towards the new Strategic Plan.

We really appreciate this opportunity to strengthen our practice together.

Please note there is a two-day Staff Development time planned for September 12-13. We chose these days as it is after Class 12 Projects and will give students  a bit of a break in a term that has no other public holidays.
