The BOT had their twice-termly meeting on Monday evening and discussed a range of things including the following:

1. Review of special character features of the school - this is ongoing and we look at a feature of special character most meetings, as we are required to report how we are delivering on our special character to SEANZ (Steiner Education New Zealand) who in turn report this to the Ministry of Education. 

2. BOT Meetings - we warmly welcome visitors to our BOT meetings. These are held at 6.30pm in the Lower School staffroom. Next term the meetings are planned for August 30 and September 27. Minutes of previous meetings can be found on the school website in the BOT section.

3. A confirmation that we have extended the Lower Hutt bus trial for one more term. We will be making a decision on the future of this service at the end of August as it is not financially viable to continue to support a service that is running at a significant cost.
