Kia kaha tātou ki te kōrero Māori!
Te Ahu o te Reo Māori programmes aim to encourage more people to use te reo in their everyday lives.
Several of the kaiako have started their te reo journey through Kāuru education, a Ministry of Education approved provider of Te Ahu o te Reo Māori.
Kāuru Ltd are excited to offer Raphael House whānau the opportunity to register for their Term 3 te reo courses. Some of the benefits can include:
- learning pronunciation techniques,
- feeling a connection to the local iwi,
- whanaungatanga and
- being able to normalise, foster and nurture te reo Māori at home and in a learning setting.
Who is a whānau member?
Parents, caregivers or legal guardians of students and Board of Trustee members. Also close associates such as sports coaches, and volunteers who work with the school. Whānau members must be over the age of 18 to participate.
How does a whānau member register?
